Workers at Rockstar Games submitted a request for voluntary recognition of the IWGB Game Workers Union. This is the first stage necessary for organising a statutory union recognition vote. It follows the voluntary recognition of IWGB at ZA/UM and the firing of 31 union members at Rockstar in October 2025. IWGB members have been organising at the company since 2019.
