Workers at ZeniMax (owned by Microsoft) took one day of strike action over the outsourcing of quality assurance work, as well as opposing the return-to-office mandate. ZeniMax Workers United became the first union to form under the Microsoft banner in January 2023 when 300 workers voted in favour. It is estimated that hundreds of workers took part in the strike.
