Workers at Ubisoft Barcelona organised strikes on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 30th June to 17th July in response to layoffs. Ubisoft announced that 380 roles were at risk, reducing the number of projects to focus on Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. The union is also making demands over internal promotion plans, protection against collective dismisal, a return to 60/40 hybrid worker, and plans for improved pay and benefits.
