Workers at three board game cafes in New York City, Hex&Co, The Brooklyn Strategist, and The Uncommons, unionised with the Tabletop Workers United. The union represents over 100 workers and secured a three-year contract, including a 19% pay increase, paid holiday and bereavement leave, and improved scheduling of shifts. As part of the campaign, TWU were supported by the Tabletop Solidarity Committee, 2,000 customers and local supporters who organised boycotts, in-store actions, and raised $15,000 for a strike fund.
