Voice actors in SAG-AFTRA union launch strike after failed negotiations
After almost 18 months of negotiations, SAG-AFTRA, the union representing the actors who voice video game characters, launched a strike against 11 US video game companies on the 21 October 2016. SAG-AFTRA's Interactive Committee, the group representing video game actors in the negotiations, demands back-end payments, safer working conditions, and more transparency about the projects actors are working on.
